Thank you so much for making a chowder that both of our boys can enjoy! Our eleven-year-old is allergic to wheat/gluten and our seven-year-old is wheat/gluten/dairy allergic so the fact that you made your CHOWDER gluten-free AND dairy-free is doubly awesome. Both boys enjoyed the chowder – our eleven-year-old devoured it!

Your wild rice & portabella mushroom soup is DELICIOUS! Love the peppery after-taste.

We look forward to more shopping at your store and more delicacies that our wheat/gluten/dairy-challenged children can enjoy, as well as Mom & Dad.

The fun part of going to Giggles for our Nutty Bird sandwich is to find what Gayle has discovered to garnish the plate. In the summer she goes to the local Farmers Market to get goodies. Last summer one time the salad was Heirloom tomatoes. She uses whatever is in season. The Nutty Bird is made with turkey that does not have any extras injected into it. Just plain turkey, cranberry sauce and either walnuts or pecans. We have her leave off the lettuce. She offers gluten free breads but also has a very good whole wheat bread for the rest of us. Other meats are offered for sandwiches.

Her soups are homemade right there in the deli. Recently, crab chowder was offered and much to our delight, it was made with a non dairy substitute instead of cows milk-- for the dairy intolerant.

And it was delicious! And a cup is plenty for most people. The bowl is for the very hungry.
